CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- NASCAR driver Kyle Busch had to surrender his license Tuesday afternoon after pleading guilty to driving 128 mph in a 45mph zone.

Busch will be without his license for 45 days, pay a $1,000 fine and is on unsupervised probation for one year.

The scheduled court appearance stems from Busch's high speed ride in a Lexus sports car back in May.

Busch was charged for driving 128 mph in a 45 mph zone in a residential area in Mooresville.
