CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A woman who was killed in a motorcycle crash was remembered on Sunday.
More than 100 people gathered Sunday night to remember 36-year-old Cynthia Rosario who is a member of the Ruff Ryders Motorcycle Club
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police, Rosario was pulling out of a parking lot on University City Boulevard, when the driver of a Saturn was attempting to make a U-turn at the intersection of University City Boulevard and Sam s Lane.
As the driver made the U-turn, Rosario s motorcycle struck the right side of the car. Rosario was thrown from the motorcycle.
She was pronounced dead on the scene. Sunday at her vigil, friends remembered her.
She showed us what being a real person was about. She s what you call an ideal person, said DJ Storm, President of the Ruff Riders Motorcycle Club.
The driver of the car was not injured and their identity has yet to be released. No charges have been filed, but police tell NewsChannel 36 the case is still under investigation.
