CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Several firefighters were called to a southeast Charlotte home that caught fire early Tuesday evening.

The fire broke out around 5 p.m. at the home in the 1100 block of South Wendover Road near the intersection of Randolph Road.

As a result, Wendover Road was closed in both directions for several minutes.

It's unclear what caused the fire, but no one was hurt.
