IREDELLCOUNTY, N.C. -- Authorities are asking for help in identifying three men they say are responsible for passing counterfeit money.

The case stems from a July 2012 report of a counterfeit $100 bill passed at the Food Lion on Williamson Road in Mooresville.

The Mooresville Police Department shared information with Iredell County Detectives that showed three men involved in passing a fake bill that carried the same serial number as the one used at the Food Lion. The suspects appear to be the same in both cases, according to authorities.
