CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating after the Fifth Third Bank was robbed Friday afternoon.

The incident happened in Uptown Charlotte on Tryon Street arond 3:54 p.m. Police said the suspect handed the teller a note demanding money and left on foot.

The man is described as a black male in his mid to late 40s, medium build and was last seen wearing a blck jacket, blue jeans, a black baseball hat and white tennis shoes.
