CROWDER'S MOUTAIN, N.C. -- Crews arrived on scene to a Crowder s Mountain house fire to find flames shooting from the home.

The fire started around 8:30 p.m. Friday on A Street in Bessemer City.

Firefighters say two of the rooms and attic were fully engulfed in flames and smoke was pouring out of the back on the house.

They had the flames under control within 20 minutes. It took 30 personnel to battle the fire.

No one was hurt but the fire department considers this a total loss.

The cause has not yet been determined.
