CHARLOTTE, N.C. A woman is in the hospital after being shot three times Monday morning.

Police responded to the 2100 block of Rozzelles Ferry Road in west Charlotte around 2 a.m.

Greta Harris, 26, told police she was walking down the street with a man when he pulled out a gun and shot her. She was able to make it to someone s house to call for help.

Harris was shot in the leg, back, and abdomen. MEDIC rushed her to the hospital and she is expected to survive. The suspect is still on the loose.

Investigators are still trying to sort out the details and say they aren t very sure where the shooting happened.
