ROCKHILL, S.C. -- South Pointe High School has only been around for six years, but already they will be heading to a third football state title game after a 38-15 win over rival York on Friday night in Rock Hill.

First year coach Strait Herron and company will face Bluffton in the Class 3A championship game.

The Cougars, led by former South Pointe coach Bobby Carroll, finish the season at 10-4, a big improvement from 2010's 2-8 season.
