ENOCHVILLE, N.C. -- Authorities are on the look-out for a man they say is involved with the string of armed robberies at convenience stores in Rowan County.
Investigators with the Rowan County Sheriff's Office have issued warrants for the arrest of 33-year-old Deangelo Artavis Chisolm for his alleged involvement in the November 7 robbery of the Xpress Mart on West C Street in Enochville.
Officials say through their investigation, they were able to identify Chisolm as the perpetrator who, armed with a pump shotgun, held up the convenience store.
During the course of their investigation, authorities determined the Xpress Mart robbery is related to a handful of other similar armed robberies in recent weeks in Kannapolis and China Grove, where multiple suspects are suspected of participating. In all three cases, a shotgun was used in the hold-up.
Kannapolis Police arrested Johntavious Billings on Thursday in connection with the Wilco Hess and Kangaroo Express robberies on Friday, November 9, and Saturday, November 10, respectively.
The Rowan County Sheriff's Office says Chisolm's last known address is Kentucky Street in Kannapolis.
