CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- With the winter weather moving across the Plains and the Midwest, a travel advisory may cause serious delays in air travel over the next few days.

On Wednesday, US Airways announced a revised ticket policy that will allow some travelers to change their flights at no cost!

According to their website, if you're traveling to one of the affected cities today (Denver, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha and Milwaukee), US Airways will allow you to change your flight and will waive the change fee.

In order to qualify, you must book the flight with identical origin and destination and your original flight must have a departure date of December 19 and be rescheduled for either December 21, 22 or 23.

USAirways warns you may have to pay a change fee if your origin or destination are different than your original ticket, your travel is outside of the dates listed above or if there is a difference in fare.

Give USAirways a call if part or all of your trip is on another airline or you don't see the Change my trip link when you pull up your reservation online. For assistance by phone, call (800) 428-4322.
