CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A popular Ballantyne eatery was damaged by fire late Monday night.

According to a spokesperson from the Bad Daddy's Burger Bar off John Delaney Drive, around 11:20 p.m. an awning caught fire at the restaurant.

CMPD has surveillance footage of the incident and are looking to determine whether the fire was intentionally started, the restaurant spokesperson said.

No one was injured during the incident.

The restaurant only suffered minor damage during the fire and is open for business Tuesday, according to restaurant management.
