CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- More than 50 people staged a rally for immigration reform Saturday in south Charlotte.

Demonstrators lined both sides of Tyvola Road near the I-77 interchange. Organizers blame the House of Representatives for not voting on a bill, already passed in the senate, that would benefit the estimated 11-million undocumented workers and farmers living in the US.

The demonstration was peaceful and others like it were held in cities across the country.
