CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A northwest Charlotte Ministry that often struggles to collect enough food for community meals had more than enough Easter Sunday.

Pastor Brenda Stevenson has been holding these holiday meals at New Outreach Christian Center for years. Often she has to solicit donations from the community.

Hundreds of people were expected to turn out to receive hot meals, and bags of groceries.
