MAIDEN, N.C. -- Police are thanking members of the public for their help in identifying a suspect in several local bank robberies.

Maiden Police arrested Joshua Paul Wilson Thursday for two charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon.

The charges are related to separate BB&T robberies. The first happened in April in Maiden and the second happened last month in Claremont.

Warrants had already been issued for Wilson regarding another BB&T robbery in Valdese two weeks ago.

Police credit the public for providing tips that led to Wilson s arrest. He was booked into Catawba County Detention Center on a $400,000 bond.

Multiple agencies investigated these cases.
