GASTONIA, N.C. -- A Gastonia man has been charged with secret peeping and possession of child pornography in separate incidents.

John Andrew Schramm, 38, was arrested Wednesday.

Schramm had video and still images on his computer that showed nude 12 and 13-year-old boys, according to Gastonia police.

Officers told NewsChannel 36 that at least one of the files on Schramm's computer showed a child engaged in sexual activity.

Schramm was charged with two counts of third-degree exploitation of a minor and officers added that all of the evidence has not yet been processed and more charges could come about.

Police said Schramm was also charged for secret peeping in connection to an August 6 incident.

According to police, Schramm secretly looked through the back sliding door of a home on Willow Wind Drive where a woman was in her living room.

Schramm is a registered sex offender and according to the N.C. Sex Offender Registry website, he was convicted of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor in Buncombe County in 2002.

He was added to the registry in 2005 and is required to remain on the list for a minimum of 10 years.
