CRAMERTON, N.C. -- A student is facing charges in connection with a bomb threat made against a middle school on Wednesday.
Cramerton Police say a bomb threat was made against Cramerton Middle School after classes had been dismissed for the day on Wednesday.
Officials assisted school administrators with evacuating any remaining students and staff.
Following a search of the building and school grounds, nothing suspicious was located.
As a precaution, Cramerton Middle School was searched on Thursday morning before students arrived for the day, and additional security is present on the campus.
The student to be charged in the bomb threat has not been identified.
Cramerton Police charged another student for two bomb threats made at Lowell Elementary school over the last two weeks.
