CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- No one was injured when a tractor-trailer crashed on Interstate 85 early Thursday morning.

The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. on I-85 north near I-485 in the University City area. Police said the tractor-trailer jackknifed and then crashed into a barrier.

The driver was not hurt in the wreck.

One lane was briefly blocked on I-85 at exit 48 while crews worked to clear the scene.

Police reopened all lanes around 5:45 a.m., but morning commuters should expect delays in the area.

No word yet if the driver is going to be charged in the incident.
