MORRISVILLE, N.C. (AP) -- A North Carolina National Guard unit is returning after nearly a year overseas.

The Guard says nearly 100 soldiers of the 5-113th Field Artillery Battalion are coming back to the Morrisville Army Readiness Center on Sunday.

The unit has been along the Egypt-Israel border on the Sinai Peninsula. The soldiers have been responsible for observing and reporting actions along the border and ensuring that both parties were compliant with the 1979 Camp David Peace Accord.
