CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Men believed to be behind an armed robbery in a Charlotte parking lot have been arrested.

Officers responded to the call for service around 10 a.m. Thursday in the 2900 block of Gibbon Road.

The victim told police two suspects approached him with a firearm and demanded his cell phone and money. They fled in a vehicle driven by a third man, according to investigators.

Police found the vehicle and the three men nearby.

Jamario Edwards, 23, Bryan Humphries, 22, and Terre Gray, 21, were taken into custody.

All three of them were charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. Edwards is also charged for possession of a firearm by a felon, and Humphries was charged with possession of marijuana.
