CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police are looking for a man who robbed a northwest Charlotte grocery store on Monday.

The robbery took place at Thomasboro Grocery on Bradford Drive around 2 p.m.

Police said the suspect pointed a gun at the employee and demanded money from the business. After obtaining money and cigarettes from the business, the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.

The suspect is described as a black man, between 18-19 years of age, 5-foot-5, thin build with deadlocks, and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
