HICKORY, N.C. -- Hickory police are searching for the man who robbed a BB&T on Highway 70 Monday afternoon.

Police say the man walked into the bank just after 1 p.m. and gave a clerk a note, saying that he had a gun.

The man left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police believe he may be driving a dark gray Honda CRV.

The man was described as 6-foot-3, 200 pounds with brown hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt, light-colored pants and a white and blue Carolina Panthers cap.
