CHARLOTTE, N.C. Four men were arrested after allegedly robbing a man who responded to a Craigslist ad for a used car.

Police say the altercation occurred at a northeast Charlotte apartment on Monday in the 1000 block of Graduate Lane near UNC Charlotte.

The victim stated he responded to a Craigslist advertisement for a used car he was interested in purchasing. The victim gave his address to the suspects and agreed to meet them so he could inspect the vehicle for sale, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department report states.

Oqualin Chambers, 26, Daryl Height, 29, Demarcus Osborne, 19, and Terrice Morgan, 25, allegedly arrived at the man s home. One of the men showed a gun and told the man to give him his money.
After taking the cash, they ran from the apartment and left in a car.

Police say they found a car matching the description a short time later on Interstate 85 near W.T. Harris Boulevard.

The victim was taken by police to the car stop and identified the suspects who he said robbed him.

All four men were charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
