CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Better Business Bureau of the Carolinas released its mid-year report outling the businesses receiving the most complaints in 2012.
Overall, consumers have filed 6,437 complaints with the BBB thus far this year, a mere two percent increase compared to this time last year.
Consumers are doing their homework before contracting with companies, said BBB President Tom Bartholomy. They have gotten the message about how important it is to check a company out before doing business with them.
Of those 6,000-plus complaints, the BBB said 87 percent of them have been resolved satisfactorily.
