FORTMILL, S.C. -- The York County Sheriff s Detectives have identified four teenage suspects that are believed to be involved in the shooting of three vehicles along the Hensley Road area of Fort Mill.

The original incident took place on January 4 in which deputies were dispatched in reference to an unknown suspect shooting at vehicles traveling along Hensley road with a pellet rifle.

After an investigation, authorities believed the four teenagers involved were using two air powered pellet rifles and one airsoft BB gun, targeting cars only for the purpose of vandalism.

Authorities said it is not believed the teenagers were targeting individual people.

The York County Sheriff s Office is questioning the teenagers about the incident. Formal charges are pending.
