ROWANCOUNTY, N.C. -- Fire crews are on the scene of a two-alarm blaze in western Rowan County.

The call came in about 10 minutes after 2 Thursday afternoon for the fire on Litaker Road.

Officials tell NBCCharlotte the fire involves multiple buildings, all of which are considered to be outbuildings , or non-residential, and are all farming-type buildings, as of the time of this writing.

So far, no injuries have been reported.

By 4 p.m., fire crews were able to bring the blaze under control.
