KINGSMOUNTAIN, N.C. -- Kings Mountain police are asking for the public's help identifying a man who robbed a drug store over the weekend.

Police said an armed man walked into the Rite Aid off of East King Street on Saturday and demanded prescription drugs from behind the counter.

The man grabbed the medication and jumped into an older white colored vehicle that was driven by another man, police said.

The suspect was described as a white man wearing a red baseball cap, black hoody sweatshirt and blue jeans and brandished a black in color semi-automatic handgun.
