CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Michelle Obama's brother, Craig Malcolm Robinson, and President Barack Obama's sister, Dr. Maya Kassandra Soetoro-Ng, addressed the crowd at the DNC Tuesday night about the importance of re-electing President Obama in November.

After their brief speeches, both siblings spoke with NewsChannel 36's Sonja Gantt about their families and the experiences they've had since President Obama took office in 2009.

Robinson head men's basketball coach at Oregon State University. Soetoro-Ngwas previously a high school history teacher and university instructor in Hawaii.
