ROCKHILL, S.C. -- The York County Sheriff's Office is investigating a string of break-ins in a York County neighborhood late last week.

Deputies said 23 vehicles were broken into in the Channing Park subdivision and several items were stolen from the cars.

There were 23 vehicles reported as entered, but not all vehicles had items taken from them, according to the police report.

In total there was approximately $700 in cash, 2 ipods, a cell phone and earbuds taken from the vehicles, according to the police report.

Authorities said there is no suspect information and it is believed that the incidents occurred between late Thursday night and early Friday morning.

All vehicles that were entered had been left unlocked.
