The Iredell County Sheriff's Office charged 57-year-old Roger Jeffrey Speaks, who authorities say goes by Jeff, with 16 counts of indecent liberties with a child.

Authorities said a parent reported to their Special Victims Unit about sexual assaults occurring where her daughters' were the victims.

On February 20, the children were interviewed at the Dove House Child Advocacy Center where author ties were able to receive statement from the witnesses in the case.

Speak was arrested at Troutman Middle School where he is employed as a Data Controller.

The investigation is ongoing at this time, there is nothing which would lead the detectives to believe any crime occurred on any school property or involving any child at Troutman Middle School, according to authorities.
