CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Some big stars have been out and about in Charlotte for what's being called the biggest blockbuster movie slated for 2012.

The Hunger Games is already generating a ton of buzz and so did the celebs while they were here.

Meghan Tartamella has owned her NoDa yoga studio for two years, but this was a first.

I just stood there for a minute and stared at him, she said.

Woody Harrelson was taking her yoga class.

He was really nice, low key, a good yogi.
And he even posed for a picture.

I told him I was so embarrassed to take a picture but I told him I would be kicking myself if I didn t at least ask you, Tartamella said.

Harrelson is one of the stars of the hotly anticipated Hunger Games movie based on the wildly successful books.

I actually haven t read the books. It s on my list of things to do, but I hear they re wonderful and I m looking forward to seeing it seeing where they shot in Charlotte, She added

On their off time the stars hung out a lot in Charlotte s popular arts district NoDa. Lenny Kravitz hit Cabo Fish Taco and Woody was mobbed at Boudreaux s Louisiana Kitchen.

Josh Hutcherson was often spotted walking his dog in NoDa. The only lead no one seems to have seen was lead actress Jennifer Lawrence. She was a big hit when she recently helped show the world the first scenes of the movie at the MTV VMA awards. She even apologized to the crowd with a taped introduction that said she was shooting in North Carolina.

Woody also hung out with the owner of the Selwyn Avenue bike shop Bicycle Sport.

He was very laid back, very laid back, very friendly, very charming guy, said shop owner Ilan Paltrow.

Paltrow rode with the movie star several times in the area.

Oh yeah, he crashed a bunch of times, four or five times a ride. He s very graceful crasher, Paltrow added.

And graceful, he says, when recognized at a Park Road coffee shop.

The only person that noticed him was one of the Brueggers employees who saw him and said oh my God, that s Woody! Started shaking, got all excited. Woody didn t even notice.

The crew spent some time shooting at the Knight Theatre in uptown and a lot of time shooting at the old Phillip Morris Plant in Concord. They also spent about a week in Shelby and a month in Asheville.
