ROCK HILL, S.C. -- The York County Multijurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit found a sizable meth lab in a Rock Hill home, according to police.

Officials executed a search warrant at the house in the 1200 block of Dunlap Roddey Road Thursday afternoon.

Officers say they found an inactive meth lab in a storage building behind the home.

Brantie Britt, 37, was already on probation for previous meth charges. He and his girlfriend, 32-year-old Jennifer Wheeler, were arrested following the search.

Investigators say the lab required a large amount of cleanup, more so than any other York County lab this year. Authorities recovered 421 grams of liquid meth, a half-gram of powder meth, .1 grams if ICE meth, .7 grams of black tar heroin. and 9.5 clonazepam pills and a 380 pistol.

Both suspects were booked into jail for several drug charges.
