LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. A traffic stop in Lincoln County yielded, a BBgun, stolen id's, needles, and meth.

Officials said Sunday they stopped a vehicle because it had a burned out license plate. Police said first the driver, Ricky Eugene Lewis, 32, gave a fake identification card. Then deputies found a BB gun, and large knife inside the vehicle.

Authorities said they also found several hypodermic needles, scales, drug paraphernalia, and methamphetamines. Investigators estimate the value at $400. At least one of the needles was filled and ready to be used.

Lewis is now facing a slew of charges including identity theft and trafficking in stolen identities. Deputies also charged Lewis passengers Haley Dawn Young, 20, and Scott Looper, 36.

All three were booked into the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center.
