CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Michelle Obama is returning to North Carolina and speaking at another Triangle-area campus.

President Barack Obama's campaign announced Friday the first lady will hold a rally Tuesday afternoon at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Mrs. Obama plans to speak inside Carmichael Arena to encourage college students and other supporters two days before early voting begins in the state. The first lady held a similar rally at the North Carolina Central University gym in Durham last month.

Her speech will begin hours before her husband and Mitt Romney hold their second presidential debate in New York. Romney visited Asheville on Thursday evening just before the vice presidential debate in Kentucky.
