STANLEY, N.C. -- The father of the child who died in the Lincoln County dirt collapse in April, and who was charged in connection with her death, is now facing more legal trouble.

Jordan Keeley Arwood, 32, is facing misdemeanor stalking charges.

Authorities say Arwood has been unlawfully and willfully contacting a 17-year-old East Lincoln High School student. They continued that Arwood has contacted the girl by text, telephone, and in person-- even frequently visiting her school and enquiring about her attendence, among other things.

Arwood has posted the $1000 bond on the charge.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office says the victim is Arwood's ex-girlfriend.
