HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. -- Huntersville Police are looking to identify a man they say sprayed a cashier at a WalMart with an unknown substance in furtherance of an armed robbery.

Saturday morning just before 7, police responded to the WalMart in the 11000 block of Bryton Town Center Drive in reference to an armed robbery.

Police say a black male wearing a black quilted-style jacket, gray pants and a brown-colored towel draped over his head approached a cashier, sprayed her clothing with an unknown substance and demanded money.

The suspect fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The cashier was not injured.
