A Lancaster man has busted for allegedly growing more than 300 marijuana plants.

Officers approached Heyward Tolbert's home after a helicopter search turned up several plants growing in his backyard, police say.

The Lancaster County Sheriff s Office says admitted those plants were his.

After further investigation officers found hundreds of plants growing in the woods near his home but Tolbert denied knowing anything about those.

Tolbert is now charged with marijuana trafficking.
