MONROE, N.C. -- A former employee has been arrested in connection with a shooting outside a DMV office in Monroe.
Freda Brown, 37, is charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
On Nov. 1, Crystal and Robbie Jordan were shot multiple times outside their business on Roosevelt Boulevard in Union County. Crystal Jordan remains hospitalized. Her husband was treated and released.
Police arrested Melvin Luckey and Otis Howie 10 days after the shooting. They are being held in the Union County Jail on $1 million bond.
Police say Brown was a former employee at the DMV and had a long-term relationship with Luckey.
