CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- One person has been arrested in connection with an attempted armed robbery that turned bloody Monday.
Around 5:30 Monday evening, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say three suspects went to a home on Purser Drive, armed with a gun.
The suspects, police say, demanded cash and were attempting to rob the victims at gunpoint.
During the robbery attempt, police say two victims were shot and sustained life threatening injuries. They were both transported to CMCMain.
Two of the suspects fled the scene in an SUV, while the third fled on foot.
Police arrested 21-year-old Thurman Armani Hill in connection with the case. He's charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious bodily injury, three counts of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bonds total $301,500.
