TEGACAY, S.C. -- Police in Tega Cay got an eyeful Wednesday night at a local WalMart.
Just before midnight Wednesday, Tega Cay Police were called out to the WalMart in the 1100 block of Stonecrest Boulevard on reports of a naked man strolling through the store.
When officers arrived on scene, they were advised the man was walking through the health and beauty section in the buff, wearing nothing but shoes.
Officers say they caught up with the sans-clothing shopper, identified as Kevin Patrick Hughes, in the electronics department.
Tega Cay Police escorted Hughes in his black tennis shoes out of the store.
Once outside, officers say Hughes stated that he remembered being asleep at his sister's house. The next thing he knew, he was naked in his truck at WalMart, the report states.
That's when Hughes told officers he thought it was a good idea to go inside and buy some clothes.
Police found a pair of shorts in Hughes' truck, asked him to put them on, then placed him under arrest for public disorderly conduct.
A mugshot for Hughes was not available at the time of this writing.
