CONCORD, N.C. -- A man accused of leaving a hit-and-run scene in Concord has now been charged.

The crash happened May 4 at Concord Parkway and Carpenter Court.

Police say Terrence Michael Ryan, 42, drove away after crashing into a Corvette, which overturned. That driver, 61-year-old Silvio Joseph Cadolino, died over the weekend as a result of his injuries.

Police found and impounded Ryan s minivan last week.

Ryan was arrested and charged with felonious hit-and-run and misdemeanor death by vehicle. He turned himself into police on Tuesday afternoon and was booked into Cabarrus County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
