The sister of missing Belmont woman, Elizabeth Stonger, tells NBC Charlotte they plan to continue the search for her on Saturday. The 27-year-old went missing from work at Walmart in Belmont on October 14th.

She clocked out for her lunch break that afternoon and was never seen again. Stonger left behind a three year old son.

After the segment aired, investigators with Belmont searched McDowell County. Its where the last ping from her cell phone was detected. Unfortunately, no leads came from it.

Stonger was driving a burgundy 1998 Chevy Lumina with North Carolina tag a-b-c-6609 .

There's also a happy bunny sticker on the fuel door and a woman and child stick figure family on the back.

Police say right now there is no reason to suggest foul play. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Belmont police at 704-825-3792.
