NEWTOWN, N.C. -- A man convicted of stealing thousands of dollars worth of T-shirts was sentenced to more than four years in prison.

Police say Jason Matthew Davis, 30, took the shirts from a Maiden loading dock in October 2012. The value of the propert totaled about $2,500.

Davis was previously convicted on drug charges.

A judge sentenced Davis to serve between 51 and 74 months in prison. This sentence will begin after time for the other charges has been completed.
