FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) -- Fayetteville police are searching for two men wanted in connection with the shooting death of a Special Forces soldier who was killed in his home.

Police identified the soldier killed Monday night as 35-year-old Sean Wayne Wells. They say they don't believe the shooting was random because they believe the family had some sort of relationship with the men.

Chief Harold Medlock says investigators don't know if the two men were invited into the home or if they forced their way inside. Authorities say a woman and child inside the home weren't injured.
