CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police believe they solved multiple robberies with the arrests of three suspects.

Etavious Davis, 23, Japaul Mobley, 22, and Deshawn Mobley, 22, were taken into custody over the last few days.

Police say the six incidents started on April 2, when the victims told police a suspect approached them, demanded money at gunpoint and fled from the scene in the 5400 block of Albemarle.

Detectives say in each case, the suspects threatened the victims and demanded money or property.

On Saturday, an off-duty officer noticed a suspicious vehicle in the Hickory Grove area and notified police. Officers conducted a traffic stop and found Davis and Deshawn Mobley in the car. Police say they found evidence both men were involved in the robberies.

Detectives found Japaul Mobley on Monday and arrested him without incident.

They all face various robbery charges and are now in the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff s Office.

Deshawn Mobley is charged for all six incidents. So far the other suspects are only charged for some.
