CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- UNCC students are the victims of a home invasion, according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police report.

It happened around midnight Tuesday at the Mallard Creek Apartments on Michelle Linnea Drive.

Police say the suspects broke into an apartment through an open balcony door. They allegedly robbed them at gunpoint. The victims were physically assaulted, police say.

The victims say laptops, cell phones and an Xbox are among the missing property.

No arrests have been made.
