ROCKHILL, S.C. -- Rock Hill Police say that one punch may have cost a 66-year-old man his life.
On Saturday, officers responded to the Sandbar restaurant on Celanese Road and found O Dell Fields lying unconscious.
He got into an argument with 30-year-old Eric Cobb and 32-year-old Gregory Wallace.
Police say Fields was leaving the restaurant and Cobb and Wallace followed him.
One of my security guys and my manager grabbed one of them and the other got around them and I guess that's when the elderly gentleman got hit, said Tommy Rice the owner of the Sandbar.
The 66-year-old victim was a Vietnam veteran, businessman, a husband and a father.
I just take a look at what he's lived and just wish I could be half the man he was, said son Johnny Fields.

Police say the victim may have only been punched one time; he was taken off life support on Sunday and died at Carolinas Medical Center Main.
That is very rare, and coroner s report and autopsy is going to show exactly what happened. Don't know if the victim was in ill health or if it was just one lucky punch, said Rock Hill Police Captain Mark Bollinger.
Cobb was arrested at the scene Saturday and charged with first-degree assault and battery. Detectives have since upgraded those charges to murder.
Wallace is charged with disorderly conduct.
Field's family is trying to cope with his loss.
[He] always tried to walk away from confrontation. He was just an outgoing person [who] didn't want to start it, and people loved him. [He] would walk into a restaurant or anywhere else and everyone would know who he was, said his son.
An autopsy will be conducted on Tuesday.
