An advertisement running during the NBA Finals is causing a huge stir; it s sparking a debate over the Washington Redskins controversial team name.

A tribe in Sacramento bought the advertisement saying that Native Americans call themselves many things, but never redskins .

It s not subtle; this term came out of bounty hunting, says Yoho Dehe Wintun Tribe Chairman Marshall McKay, and the redskin was blood on the corpses.

The owner of the Redskins he s respectful of Native Americans, but will not be changing the name, despite calls from several members of Congress, including Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

Twitter erupted on the hashtag #RedskinPride during the finals.
