ROCKWELL, N.C. -- The Rowan County Sheriff's Office arrested two people accused in a rash of break-ins and assaulting a person last month.

Deputies said Jamie Elizabeth Overcash and Danny Roland Green broke into several homes and also assaulted a neighbor who interrupted one break-in on Old Beatty Ford near Rockwell last week.

According to the police report, a man attempted to stop Green after he had broke into a residence next door. Green assaulted the man and fled the scene in a burgundy Dodge Dakota.

During the course of the investigation detectives were able to link Overcash and Green to several home break-ins which occurred during the month of March.

Stolen property from some of these cases were recovered and returned to the owners, according to the police report.

Green and Overcash remain in the Cabarrus County Jail.

Detectives are also still searching for Donterio Glaspy and Desmond Cruse who are also believed to be involved in several other break-ins in Rowan County. Both have been added to the Rowan County Sheriff s Office Most Wanted List.

Anyone with information on these cases is asked to contact Lt. Chad Moose at (704) 216-8687 or Crime Stoppers at 1-866-639-5245.
