CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for the public's help identifying two men who robbed a person at an east Charlotte gas station.

Police said on Thursday while pumping gas at the Shell Gas Station off of Albemarle Road, a man was approached by two armed men.

The suspects demanded money and punched the victim in the face with a gun.

The first suspect is described as a black man, about 20 to 30 years of age, slim build, wearing a red hoodie with dark lettering, baseball hat and light blue jeans.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, about 25 to 30 years of age, black jacket with brown lining, a black hat and blue jeans.

Both suspects fled in a white, 2005 style Chevrolet Trailblazer with aftermarket rims, according to police.
