MECKLENBURGCOUNTY, N.C. Troopers have charged a man after his truck flipped and caused bottled water to spill all over I-485.

The incident happened shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday on I-485 inner. Trooper Horton tells NBC Charlotte the driver was attempting to make a lane change when he lost control -- over-corrected in the median, causing the Penske box truck to overturn.

Officials said the man was carrying cases of bottled water. Some of the cases split and were strewn across roadway.

Around 9 p.m. Trooper Horton said crews were still on the scene working to get the site cleaned up.

The driver of the Penske truck is being charged with failure to maintain lane control and reckless driving. No one was injured, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
